FAQ
Does the stopwatch keep running if I switch tabs?
Yes. It uses a monotonic clock for smooth foreground timing and an epoch checkpoint to account for many device sleep gaps. Browser scheduling and manual system-clock changes can still affect results, so this is not certified timing equipment.
What do laps do?
Each lap records a split at that moment without stopping the clock — useful for timing intervals or repeated efforts.
Can I export lap times?
Yes. Copy laps or export them as CSV with split, cumulative and lap-to-lap difference columns. Press Spacebar to start or stop hands-free.
