Are my images uploaded?
No. Resizing happens entirely in your browser with the Canvas API — your images never leave your device.
Does it keep the aspect ratio?
Yes. Social presets default to Contain, which preserves the whole image and adds padding. Cover preserves proportions by cropping. Stretch changes proportions and distorts the image whenever the target ratio differs.
Are there presets for social media?
Yes — one-click presets for Instagram square/portrait, Stories/Reels, Facebook/OG, X header, YouTube thumbnails and avatars. You can also scale by a percentage of the original.
Which formats can I save?
You can download the resized image as PNG, JPG or WebP.
