How is volume calculated?
Slab/footing: L×W×D. Column (round): π×r²×h. Column (square): w×w×h.
Which bag yield should I use?
Choose a named product preset or enter the yield printed on your bag. Bag weight alone does not determine yield, and the calculator always rounds whole bags up.
Add waste?
Toggle 5% or 10% waste for spillage and uneven ground.
Where do the US preset yields come from?
The QUIKRETE Concrete Mix presets use the manufacturer’s published approximate yields of 0.30, 0.45 and 0.60 ft³ for 40, 60 and 80 lb bags. Verify the current bag label before purchase.
