FAQ
Will the QR code still scan after printing?
Yes, if it is big enough. The code is drawn at high resolution with a full 4-module quiet zone. As a rule of thumb keep it at least 2 cm (0.8 in) wide in print; choose the H error-correction level if the paper may get stained or folded.
What can I put in the QR code?
Any URL or text. Capacity depends on the error-correction level — roughly 1,800–2,900 characters at level M and less at H. The tool warns you when the content is too long to encode.
How do I know the code actually works?
In browsers that support the BarcodeDetector API, the tool scans its own generated code and compares the decoded value with your input, showing a "Verified scannable" badge. You can also test with your phone camera on the preview.
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. QR generation, PDF preview and embedding all run locally with the qrcode library, pdf.js and pdf-lib. The output passes a page-count check before the download appears.
Can I place several QR codes on different pages?
Yes. Place as many as you need — each one remembers its page, position and size, and you can select any of them to move, resize or remove before exporting.
