Which barcodes are supported?

This tool covers EAN-13, UPC-A, and EAN-8 validation and SVG generation. GTIN-14 is not supported.

How is it validated?

The standard mod-10 check digit is recomputed with alternating 3 and 1 weights from the right, then compared with the final digit.

Does the GS1 prefix show where a product was made?

GS1 prefix — the member organisation that allocated the number, NOT the country of origin. It does not identify where a product was manufactured.

Is my number uploaded?
